Monaxa, a newly established forex and contracts for difference broker, has appointed Chris Trikomitis, the former Established Markets Director at Exness, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Trikomitis joined Monaxa after only 10 months at his former role at Exness.
Trikomitis announced his appointment on Friday on LinkedIn. The executive profile reveals he joined Monaxa in January. He has about 20 years of financial experience. Trikomitis led Exness’ established markets and worked with local commercial directors in his last post.
Trikomitis told Finance Magnates that his new brokerage business, Monaxa, has many experienced employees, some of whom he has worked with before. The top executive said he helped develop Monaxa’s strategy, direction, and mission. He called the trading platform “new, innovative technology.”

Chris Trikomitis’ FXPRIMUS, State Street Career
The senior executive has worked with FXPRIMUS, State Street, and Thomas Reuters in addition to Exness. He joined FXPRIMUS in 2016 as Head of Operations and served as CEO for Asia Pacific till he resigned in early 2022.
Trikomitis worked as a Service Manager at Thomas Reuters from May 2012 to April 2014 before joining FXPRIMUS. At Thomas Reuters, the executive functioned in the TR-Elektron Hosting department. Elektron, which is separated into Elektron Hosting and Managed Services and Elektron Real Time, is Thomson Reuters’ corporate infrastructure that links financial institutions and trading venues throughout the globe. The system supplies real-time data for high frequency and algorithmic trading.
Trikomitis was State Street’s Project Manager and Senior IT Support Officer from September 2006 until July 2012. The executive began his career as a CBRE Project Manager.
