Biometric payment cards powered by Zwipe have been introduced by Kuwait International Bank (KIB). Elite VIP clients of the bank will be able to access the new offering through the VISA ‘Infinite Black’ program.
In a partnership with Kuwait International Bank, Zwipe will provide its VISA-approved Zwipe Pay solution for biometric payment cards. The answer is the result of many years of research and pilot testing carried out in many regions. One of Zwipe’s local partners, Inkript, a developer of digital security solutions, will make the cards.
In response to the introduction of the new cards, Deema Al Mulaifi, assistant general manager of operations at KIB, said: “KIB prides itself on being a progressive Islamic bank that continues to provide its customers with a distinctive banking experience improved by greater convenience and security.
