South Korean money transfer operator E9pay has partnered with Currencycloud to launch the “E9pay Collection Service,” enabling foreign money transfers faster and easier for Korean businesses, starting with the US.
Money transfer operator (MTO) E9pay, based in South Korea, has teamed up with Currencycloud, a company that aims to make doing business easier in a multi-currency environment, to introduce the new “E9pay Collection Service.” The newest service will make it easier for businesses operating in Korea to send and receive money internationally more rapidly, starting with the United States.
E9pay successfully created and released the new E9pay Collection Service by integrating Currencycloud’s APIs into its current platform. Moreover according to E9pay, the service will, for the first time, make it possible for Korean SMEs and retailers to conveniently collect cash from cross-border customers.
The new service will be crucial in advancing E9pay’s mission to make foreign payments easier for Korea’s internationally oriented B2B market.
Expanding Possibilities: E9pay Collaborates with Currencycloud for the ‘E9pay Collection Service
According to Hyuk Goo Jeon, CEO of E9pay, “We are introducing our new collections service dubbed ‘E9pay Collection Service’ with a well-known, international brand in Currencycloud. As more Korean traders and companies utilize it to send money overseas faster and cheaper than they now can, we anticipate this service to expand enormously in the years to come.
Finally as of March 2023, E9pay will offer overseas remittance and receipt services to and from 126 countries after being the first company to obtain the Overseas Remittance Business No. 1 License from the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) of South Korea.
The launch was also discussed by Rohit Narang, managing director of Asia Pacific at Currencycloud. “E9pay has pioneered the provision of individuals in South Korea with a remittance service to over 126 countries,” Narang said.
