CWallet Services and QNB collaborate to transform Qatari fintech. CWallet’s online, mobile, and point-of-sale solutions empower Qatar’s cashless society and MENA consumers and companies.

In an effort to improve the fintech services in Qatar, CWallet Services, a fintech startup established in Qatar, has signed a contract with QNB, a bank with operations in the Middle East and Africa.

In accordance with the specifications of the Qatar Central Bank, QNB will assist CWallet by simplifying the settlements. The partnership wants to open up a lot of economic prospects since Qatar wants to have a cashless society and a thriving financial industry.

In Qatar and the MENA region, CWallet, a financial technology company, creates and offers online, mobile, and point-of-sale solutions. A marketplace, payment gateway, wallet-as-a-service, prepaid cards, peer-to-peer transactions, online, offline, and on-demand payment transactions, mobile money wallets, and other services are offered by the fintech to both consumers and businesses.

‘Less dependant on cash’

“QNB is the bank that sees the future, and CWallet is working toward the future of payment,” said Michael Javier, CEO and founder of CWallet in Doha. “We always stress that our mission is beyond remittance and beyond digital banking. As a result, with the help of these strategic partners, Qatar’s fintech scene will open up opportunities for more business owners and creative solutions that will greatly benefit the nation’s people, citizens, and government.

“This is a great partnership, and we could see big ambitions to grow our business with QNB,” said Dr. Abdulmohsin, co-founder and vice chairman of CWallet. Our collaboration with QNB will strengthen our core services and help us to better establish our fintech presence in Qatar and the MENA region.

“We will be able to achieve our objective and vision by working with QNB. We would like to express our gratitude to QNB for supporting CWallet and giving us power; this will undoubtedly have a good impact in the years to come. Our new products will soon be released, allowing people in Qatar to enjoy our one-of-a-kind services.

When it comes to enhancing the financial services that offer seamless and simpler payment options, QNB always promotes innovation, according to Adel Ali Al-Malki, senior executive vice president of group retail banking at QNB. The goal of the bank is to help payments become less dependent on cash in the future.
