New reality program hopes to popularize cryptocurrencies with its cryptocurrency TV series
This week sees the introduction of the new “The Next Crypto Gen” television series.
16 cryptocurrency participants will compete for a prize pool worth an estimated $150,000 on the new reality show. Additionally, influential members of the industry like Brian D. Evans, Layah Heilpern, George Tung, and “BitBoy Crypto” will serve as judges.
The goal of the new crypto TV series, according to Jett Tang, the executive producer, is to introduce crypto to a general audience through teamwork, rivalry, larger-than-life characters, and unconventional concepts.
Additionally, according to Tang, “The Next Crypto Gen” will actually display cryptocurrencies, making them a fascinating and even exciting topic.
Six weeks of crypto challenges for the 16 contestants in the cryptocurrency TV series
The 16 candidates in The Next Crypto Gen will face six additional weeks of cryptocurrency tasks after this one before competing for the grand prize.
According to Tang, the first episode’s challenge will involve individuals who are “less likely to understand crypto and more hostile to crypto”. The competitors will then be split into four teams, each of which will need to demonstrate that it is possible for “no coiners” to understand the fundamentals of blockchain in order to win the challenge.
The judges will intervene to clarify important crypto words and concepts during a segment dubbed “The Big Short,” according to the producers.
The new crypto TV series will undoubtedly have plenty of entertainment value, even if just because it stars individuals who have faced harsh criticism in the cryptocurrency community, such Ben Armstrong, the former spokesperson for BitBoy Crypto.
Ben Armstrong’s firing due to drug use and BitBoy Crypto
Ben Armstrong, a YouTuber, has long been the face of the official BitBoy Crypto channel, which just stated that Armstrong had been dismissed.
His drug usage was cited as the culprit, claiming that it had hurt the entire business financially, psychologically, and physically as a result.
Armstrong is essentially fired from the organization and the BitBoy Crypto name. BJ Investment Holdings and Hit Network, the latter of which is its parent firm, came to the decision after vigorous legal battle.
The business also emphasized that it had long since been assisting Armstrong with his relapse, but evidently that was insufficient.
