Pliable, an AI-powered SaaS data platform, has officially debuted after receiving a $2.5 million seed round from Resolute Ventures.
The SaaS platform from Pliable aims to make it easier to organize and use data without the help of an engineer. Following the investment round, in which CEAS and other investors participated, Pliable intends to grow its team and platform in order to establish a single source of truth for everyone to streamline their data processes.
No matter the size of their organization, companies should have access to full data capabilities, according to Jason Raede, co-founder and CEO of Pliable. Although there is technology for this, most solutions need clean, unified data to work correctly, and some involve expensive expenditures in infrastructure or data engineers.
The majority of businesses don’t have the time or resources to improve their data management methods, which shouldn’t be the case. We’re revolutionizing data management with the release of Pliable by drastically cutting expenses and expanding access to reliable data.
A Wakefield Research and Fivetran analysis claims that data engineers spend up to half of their time constructing and managing data pipelines, which costs $520,000 per year. Many small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) lack the resources—staff, equipment, and even data analytics and modeling—to manage data pipelines effectively.
Pliable intends to empower users to easily create a source of truth for data throughout the whole business by aggregating, de-duplicating, and validating data across numerous sources, ultimately reducing the need for data engineers and complex infrastructure.
A cheap method for low-tech data teams
Everyone can consolidate, organize, and examine their company’s data across all facets of their organization thanks to Pliable’s no-code architecture, which enables them to:
- Through rapid and simple resolution of duplicate records, even between separate systems, access correct, reliable data more quickly.
- Make updating corporate KPIs a repeatable, consistent process so that staff have more time to concentrate on their top goals.
- Use Pliable-compatible tools to standardize, enhance, and add information such as phone numbers and addresses.
“We get excited by exceptional founding teams who have figured out how to optimize efficiency and impact the bottom line for a large market of customers,” said Michael Hirshland, founder of Resolute Ventures. Pliable thus made sense because it made data accessible and understandable for all people and all kinds of businesses. Customers that are flexible can be their most productive selves.
“The modern data stack has evolved quickly, and CEAS has had a front-row seat as an early investor in Fivetran,” said Mike Wohl, chief investment officer at CEAS. From there, we may observe an adoption friction for non-technical users that Pliable resolves.
“Pliable is the solution that will allow teams interested in data to find answers to their business intelligence queries on a low-tech and low-budget basis. Pliable is growing the pie of buyers to include a new buyer group that the present modern data stack couldn’t reach while many new businesses are entering the transformation game to compete with dbt.
