Honda accelerates into the crypto era with FCF Pay partnership, welcoming payments in Dogecoin (DOGE) and Ripple (XRP).
The massive Japanese automaker Honda is “opening its engines” to cryptocurrencies. A cooperation with FCF Pay has made it possible to purchase Honda products in a number of cryptocurrency currencies, such as Dogecoin (DOGE) and Ripple (XRP).
With FCF Pay, Honda takes payments in cryptocurrency such as Dogecoin, Ripple, and others
Honda Motor Co., a Tokyo-based producer of automobiles, motorcycles, and electrical equipment, has teamed up with FCF Pay to take cryptocurrency payments.
In particular, Honda will let clients rent or purchase its goods with cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Ripple (XRP).
Indeed, the tweet’s accompanying picture lists as many as 46 cryptocurrencies that are compatible with the FCF Pay for Honda blockchain payment system, in addition to the well-known Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin (BTC).
Actually, the list contains more memecoins than only DOGE, like Doge Killer (LEASH), Pepe Coin (PEPE), Floki Inu (FLOKI), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Alongside another recent development pertaining to NFTs is Honda’s new acceptance of cryptocurrency payments.
In reality, Honda revealed the existence of a new limited edition NFT in Japan during the FORMULA 1 Honda & Red Bull welcome ceremony in Tokyo.
To put it simply, Honda gave Honda KEY NFTs to every fan who purchased tickets in the September Formula 1 Honda & Red Bull ticket lottery. After the event, ticket holders were given a commemorative NFT, which was also given to event attendees.
Honda extended an invitation to its supporters to visit the Honda stand at the Suzuka Circuit during the 2023 Formula One Japanese Grand Prix.
Honda’s iconic NFTs were introduced in association with Animoca Brands Japan, a company founded to assist Japanese content and intellectual property owners with their worldwide Web3 strategy.
The cost of DOGE and XRP
Based on a review of the charts for Dogecoin (DOGE) and Ripple (XRP), it seems that both are riding the bullish wave of bitcoin, at least for the past week.
More specifically, DOGE is currently valued $0.063, but XRP is worth $0.52. Over the last seven days, there has been a +5% price pump for both.
The monthly picture is different, though. Even though XRP is increasing by +5%, DOGE is in a comparable position.
Overnight, XRP’s price has already reached its pre-SEC victory levels. As a matter of fact, XRP surged from $0.47 to $0.81 on July 13. Since the next month, XRP has already reached its $0.50 level once again.
Elon Musk’s preferred memecoin, DOGE, does not appear to have had a very prosperous 2023 in terms of prices. Conversely, a study conducted last month revealed that DOGE is this year’s second-most popular bitcoin substitute.
Basically, DOGE was discovered to be the most popular cryptocurrency after Ethereum based on Google queries conducted by people worldwide, excluding bitcoin.
