Meet Italy’s elite team driving Coinbase’s presence—ambassadors shaping local crypto communities and events for a dynamic future.
The cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase has begun a pilot programme called “Coinbase Ambassadors” in Italy. Selected ambassadors will have the opportunity to represent Coinbase at regional crypto events throughout the nation and create and oversee Coinbase online communities.
The six members of the Coinbase-selected team will be made up of five ambassadors and one part-time community manager from all throughout Italy.
These roles entail taking part in various community forums and cryptocurrency communities/groups; producing and selecting content for these communities; representing Coinbase at local crypto-related events; disseminating Coinbase news and product announcements; and being an integral part of the product testing and feedback procedures.
“We are thrilled to launch the pilot programme of our ‘Coinbase Ambassadors’ in Italy; this initiative marks a significant step in strengthening our foothold within the region, enabling us to delve deeper into the nuances of Italy’s thriving crypto landscape,” said Coinbase vice president and regional managing director for EMEA, Daniel Seifert.
With the aid of our ambassadors, we intend to empower crypto-enthusiasts and obtain invaluable first-hand knowledge and feedback. We are overjoyed to present this wonderful opportunity to the chosen applicants.
Coinbase’s international expansion initiatives
According to Coinbase, Italy is currently a desirable market because of the country’s developing IT scene and rising interest in cryptocurrencies. Because of this, Coinbase intends to keep the area in the forefront of its second phase of international expansion.
Coinbase has been revealing advancements around Europe in recent weeks, extending the application of its “Go Deep, Go Broad” approach.
Moreover Coinbase got the required licences in September and registered with the Bank of Spain as a bitcoin exchange and custodian wallet provider.
Then, in October, Coinbase said that Elke Karskens had been appointed country director for Benelux and the Nordic region, and that Ireland would be the location of its MiCA business.
Through their combined efforts and varied regional viewpoints, the Ambassadors want to significantly influence Coinbase’s presence in the Italian market and build a robust and active community of bitcoin users and enthusiasts.
