The GirlScript Foundation hosts Web3Conf, the first and largest chain-neutral conference in India. Around the same time last year, this conference was held in Goa with more than 1500 ardent web3.0 enthusiasts. We also feature Startup Pitch Sessions, Talks, and Panel Discussions, as well as Company Booths, in addition to the Hackathon “Hack – Web3conf”.
With initiatives like GirlScript Summer of Code, LetsPy, Tech In Slums, Uplift Project, and others, GirlScript has been assisting newcomers in the field of technology education since 2017. The foundation has worked with more than 250 global tech and social good companies, including Microsoft, Red Hat, Twitter, Atlassian, Filecoin, Polygon, Dapper Labs, Child Rights & You, etc. The foundation has impacted 500,000+ learners and has been featured in Forbes Asia, Tedx, Booking.com Technology Playmaker, ElasticSearch Cause Awards, Women Tech Network Awards, Society of Women Engineers Magazine, among other publications.
Additionally, the organization held beginner-friendly Web3.0 boot courses in 52 Indian locations, reaching more than 15,000 students. GirlScript also organized Web3 Villa Meetups through Web3 Meetup India in over ten cities, as well as International NFT Day in over twelve cities, Flow Hackathon 2023 with over seven thousand developers, and Winter of Blockchain with over four thousand developers.
