In Brazil, the second-largest economy in Latin America, Binance and Mastercard Inc. announced the introduction of a prepaid card on Monday. The cryptocurrency juggernaut is making this attempt to “broaden the relationship between traditional finance and crypto.”
The so-called Binance Card is reportedly undergoing a beta test and is anticipated to become extensively utilized in the next weeks. Brazil will overtake Argentina as the second nation in Latin America following this launch.
According to Binance, Brazil is one of its ten biggest markets, and the prepaid card will allow all existing and new customers in the nation to shop and make payments using cryptocurrencies via MasterCard.
