Mastercard and One Global’s “Click to Pay” (C2P) service in Kuwait simplifies checkout and protects sensitive data.
Under the auspices of its Payment Service Provider (PSP) license, Mastercard has partnered with digital transformation and innovation business One Global to introduce “Click to Pay” (C2P) in Kuwait. The Click to Pay service from Mastercard seeks to establish “a new standard” for customer checkout transactions. The leader in global payments noted that C2P aims to provide a more uniform experience for customers by making it simpler, more secure, and faster to check out – without the need to enter card information or keep sensitive information with numerous merchants.
Once signed up, customers can use the stored cards in their profile to pay at any retailer who supports the service.
In addition to bill payments on one of their niche marketplaces, Og Money, One Global has enabled Click to Pay for the purchase of digital gift cards and gaming vouchers from retailers including Amazon, Apple Cards, PlayStation, and Nintendo. For gaming vouchers, entertainment cards, bill payments, top-ups, utilities, travel, and other digital services, the mobile financial service platform acts as a one-stop shop.
One Global also disclosed intentions to broaden platform usage and serve more use cases with the service in additional nations.
The two organizations have collaborated before, but this news is not the first instance.
