New DAZN MOMENTS marketplace will let fans collect memorable moments across various sports starting Spring 2022 in Japan.
The Japanese basketball franchise Hiroshima Dragonflies has announced the opening of their NFT marketplace, called “DfDunk.”
Fans of Hiroshima Dragonflies will be able to purchase, sell, and exchange numbered variations of gameplay screenshots, highlights, photographs, short films, trading cards, and other content through the blockchain-based platform.
“We hope to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the community as a basketball club that everyone can enjoy together, regardless of generation, gender, or ethnicity,” Hiroshima Dragonflies Community Lead Giselle said. Additionally, we strive towards the promotion of sports and the area rejuvenation.
The Japanese basketball team, which competes in the first division’s west conference, uses Web3 techniques to interact with their supporters more.
Additionally, the club wants to leave a lasting impression on the Web3 community and establish south east Asia as a leader in trading card NFTs.
The Hiroshima Dragonflies aim to imitate NBA Top Shot’s success by using the blueprint set forth by the NBA.
“The Southeast Asian market lacks digital star card collection games and trading platforms,” Giselle continued. It’s challenging to meet the requirement of providing dedicated collectors and NFT fans with a fantastic collecting and entertainment experience while also fulfilling their sense of trading success.
“DfDunkNFT offers multi-chain, multi-wallet transactions with excellent performance and cheap handling fees, while also taking the threshold issue of buying NFTs into consideration by accepting credit card payment.”
The Hiroshima Dragonflies will be releasing their first batch of NFTs on the “top 2 main exchanges,” according to Giselle’s Twitter AMA.

The club also intends to establish a Japanese basketball DAO, structure, and processes that will allow DAO members to take part in decision-making and co-creation.
