MVGX Holdings, a Singapore-based green fintech company, launches MVGX Tech, a subsidiary focused on innovative carbon Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
In an effort to contribute to a more equitable and sustainable future, MVGX Holdings, a Singapore-based green fintech company, has created a new subsidiary, “MVGX Tech,” focused on carbon Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products and services.
MVGX Tech also developed its new “Carbon Connect Suite” as part of the transition, which includes a number of the company’s carbon SaaS offerings with a focus on carbon measurement, reporting, and verification, decarbonization rating, carbon credit development and issuance, carbon credit listing and registry, and carbon credit trading infrastructure.
The new system intends to offer a comprehensive, all-encompassing suite of goods, programs, and services that help businesses, organizations, and institutions fulfill their sustainability objectives.
According to the supplier of regulated financial services and end-to-end carbon SaaS solutions, the new Carbon Connect Suite addresses all three emission types, allowing businesses to manage their carbon balance sheet and gain a clearer understanding of their sustainability journeys.
Importantly, it makes it possible for businesses to adhere to newly established regulatory standards, such as disclosure requirements under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) of the European Union.
MVGX’s executive chairman and co-founder, Dr. Bo Bai, said: “Over the past few years, we have expanded our technological skills, subject matter knowledge, and infrastructure along the full decarbonization value chain.
As we strive to formalize and improve our solutions in the carbon SaaS market, the creation of MVGX Tech is the result of that work.
Frank will lead the team during this exciting expansion due to his experience bringing technological solutions to market, especially as sustainability reporting solutions become more popular. The Carbon Connect Suite was developed with internationally famous ISO certification bodies like BSI and TÜV-SÜD to provide the greatest degree of accuracy, rigor, and credibility in carbon calculation according to international standard requirements.
Frank Zhang is appointed by MVGX Tech
Frank Zhang, a veteran of the finance, ISO standard certification, and sustainability industries, will be the president of MVGX Tech.
Across the US and Asia Pacific markets, Zhang has more than 20 years of experience in business strategy, technology management, and consultancy services.
He has previously held several leadership positions at companies like IBM, Citibank, Bank of China, Capgemini, Ernst & Young, and Dentsu International. Most recently, he was the managing director of Greater China at BSI.
In a statement regarding the establishment of the subsidiary, Zhang stated: “The growing severity of the climate catastrophe has demonstrated to organizations of all sizes worldwide that we must act immediately to combat climate change.
“Making commitments to reduce carbon emissions is one thing; having the necessary resources, knowledge, and know-how to substantiate those claims is quite another. MVGX Tech wants to help businesses measure, manage, and report their carbon footprints in an efficient manner so they may reach their carbon reduction goals and satisfy shareholders’ demands for greater climate responsibility.
