Witness the debut of the NFT ticketing program at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, a collaborative effort between Polygon, Elemint, Bary, and Platinium Group, revolutionizing the world of live events with blockchain technology.
The Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix will serve as the debut of an exclusive NFT ticketing scheme that was developed in collaboration with Polygon, Web3 startups Elemint and Bary, and Platinium Group, the leading ticketing provider for F1 events globally.
Participants in the legendary F1 race, scheduled for May 26–28, will get personalized, non-falsifiable NFT tickets, which also serve as digital collectibles and one-of-a-kind keepsakes to remember the occasion.
As time goes on, NFT tickets will serve as a digital key to unlock extra perks like post-race hospitality or discounted Grand Prix tickets, as well as to reward faithful Formula 1 event attendees.
Due to their traceability, programmability, and inability to be replicated, NFTs are the ideal replacement for paper tickets as they solve many of the issues associated with traditional ticketing systems.
NFT ticketing: all information
Elemint and Bary have announced a collaboration with Platinium Group in order to revamp the Formula 1 ticketing process using a new ticketing platform that will be powered by Polygon, as was expected.
This new service, which will be accessible throughout the competition—from practice to qualifying to the race itself—will make its debut during the legendary Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.
Elemint has specifically developed a safe platform that enables customers to obtain a distinct, unchangeable digital ticket (in the form of an NFT) that will be printed on the Polygon blockchain.
One advantage of employing NFTs and blockchain technology is that it helps stop the selling of tickets on the black market and the issuing of fake tickets.
For each Formula 1 Grand Prix, NFT tickets will be offered as digital collectibles, and after the race, each one will become a special digital memento.
Additionally, the tickets and souvenirs are individualized; in fact, each one has a key and will display different iconic parts of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, such the hairpin, the Sainte-Dévote, or the Casino.
Platinium Group, the largest ticket seller for all Formula 1 Grand Prix events, Elemint, a specialized Web3 firm, and Bary join together to provide Formula 1 fans with a more interactive and secure ticketing experience that will also reward loyalty.
