The annual trading report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, was just released by Swissquote. According to the report, the company’s business performance in 2022 met its goals.
Swissquote reported net revenues of CHF 200 million for the first half of 2022, down from revenues of CHF 264.4 million for the same period in the prior year, a decline of 24.4% year over year. The half-total year’s operating income was CHF 204.8 million, a decrease of 23.1% from the prior year. On the other side, profit before taxes decreased 32.7%.
The business expects its 2022 pre-tax profit to be at least 185 million Swiss francs and its 2022 net income to exceed 400 million Swiss francs. The total value of the client assets was 52.2 billion Swiss francs.
According to the business, “Swissquote has been able to navigate successfully in a challenging market climate due to the diversified sources of revenues and a bigger share of non-transaction based income.”
